The experience behind the books
My bookkeeping journey started with a single payroll accounting course and turned into a decade-long career built around one thing: helping businesses understand their numbers. Over the years I have kept books across construction and trades, vehicle repair, property renovation, coaching and professional services, and that range is why I can usually spot the problem in a new file quickly.
Outside of Balance My Books, I lead the full financial function of an established organization, covering bookkeeping, payroll, budgeting, forecasting, and process improvement. That means I am not just recording your transactions. I understand the business decisions behind them, and I bring that perspective to every client.
